Of 7,834 patients screened at their dental visit, 3,984 (50.9%) had a reading above 130/80. That's a large share of patients who could benefit from a closer look at their cardiovascular health. When blood pressure screenings are conducted at the dental office, it uniquely positions dental teams to identify risk earlier and help connect patients to the medical care they need.
