Janie Peters

Janie Peters serves as Vice President of Business & Technology Solutions for PDS Health Technologies, the technology services arm of PDS Health. With nearly 25 years of healthcare experience, Janie brings deep operational and clinical insight to her leadership role, most notably through her transformational work with Epic, one of the most widely used electronic health record systems in the world. .

Janie began her healthcare journey in ophthalmology, holding both clinical and operational roles before shifting into health IT. For the past 15 years, she has led large-scale teams through the successful implementation and optimization of electronic medical record platforms. Since joining PDS Health in 2018, Janie has been the driving force behind the organization’s groundbreaking transition to Epic, marking the first widespread rollout of the Epic system within a dental organization. Under her leadership, more than 800 dental practices were migrated to Epic during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, a milestone that positioned PDS Health as a pioneer in integrated care and solidified its commitment to the Mouth-Body Connection®.

Recognized across the industry for her Epic expertise, Janie has presented multiple times at Epic’s Annual User Group Meeting (UGM) and the eXpert Group Meeting (XGM), sharing insights from her experience leading one of the most complex and innovative dental health IT initiatives to date. Her work has also extended beyond PDS through consulting engagements and client partnerships, helping other organizations leverage Epic to enhance patient care.

Janie also led the early development of the company’s Community Connect offering, which evolved into PDS Health Technologies, a platform that now supports both internal practices and academic partners like High Point and Roseman Dental Schools. Based in Irvine, CA, Janie enjoys traveling and finding time to unwind when not advancing the future of integrated health care.
