David Baker

David Baker serves as Chief Information and Digital Officer at PDS Health, where he leads the organization’s technology strategy and oversees the PDS Health Innovations business.

Since joining the organization in 2016, David has helped it scale rapidly through a world-class digital platform that positions PDS Health as a leader in healthcare technology across both dental and medical practices. 

He led the world’s first enterprise-wide dental deployment of Epic®, bringing the system to more than 1,000 supported dental practices. This milestone brought together dental and medical data, creating a complete longitudinal patient health record that enables more proactive and holistic care. 

David has earned industry recognition throughout his career, most recently as a finalist in the “SoCal CIO of the Year ORBIE” Awards. He was previously named “Innovator of the Year” by the Orange County Business Journal and recognized by Computerworld as one of its “Premier 100 IT Leaders.” 

With more than two decades of global experience in healthcare, finance, telecommunications, eRetail, and transportation, David has driven transformation in organizations ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies. He is known for leading rapid change in an industry where change is the only constant.
