Danny Bickel, PDS Health

When Danny Bickel joined PDS Health more than seven years ago, he wasn't simply looking for an opportunity to manage a dental practice. He wanted to be part of an organization whose values showed up in everyday actions.

He found exactly that.

Ask Danny what he loves most about working at PDS Health, and his answer is immediate.

“Definitely the culture,” says Danny, operations manager at Dentists of Stone Oak and Orthodontics in San Antonio. “I joined this company not just wanting to run a dental office or a business, but to be part of something special.”

For Danny, the difference is that PDS Health doesn't simply talk about culture. It demonstrates it every day through the organization's We Believes and a commitment to putting people first.

“There are a lot of companies out there that talk a lot about culture, and they have big mission statements,” he says. “But we actually live our culture through our We Believes every single day. We genuinely put our people first. Our patients, our team, our families, and that bleeds over into our communities. To me, that translates into a successful company.”

Service as Part of the Culture

For Danny, serving others isn't something reserved for special occasions. It's part of how he approaches every day.

“My goal is to make a difference in somebody's life every single day,” Danny says. “PDS Health allows me to do that, and I would say actually requires me to do that, which I think is really cool.”

That commitment extends beyond patient care. PDS Health provides every team member with eight hours of paid volunteer time each year, creating opportunities to support local organizations and causes that matter most to them.

“How many companies out there actually pay their team eight hours every year to go out and donate and volunteer their time?” Danny says. “It's something pretty special.”

A Place to Build a Career

For Danny, culture is about more than creating a positive workplace. It's about working alongside people who share a commitment to serving others, support one another and improve the lives of patients and the communities they serve.

That is what has made his seven plus years at PDS Health so rewarding, and it's why he's excited about the future.

“PDS Health is an amazing company,” he says. “I can't wait to see what the next two years, five years brings to us. I absolutely love working for PDS Health.”

For clinicians and business professionals considering their next career move, Danny's experience offers a glimpse of what makes PDS Health unique: a culture where values are reflected in everyday actions, service extends beyond the practice, and people work together with a shared commitment to improving the lives of patients and the communities they serve.
