Our Stories > Integrated Clinical Care

At PDS Health, we believe in putting patients first, a philosophy that extends beyond the workplace and into the lives of our team members and their families. Donna Sollecito, a Regional Front Office Trainer in South Florida, recently experienced firsthand the incredible dedication of our team when her son faced an unexpected and traumatic accident. One evening, Donna’s youngest son was playing with his friends when he had his first experience riding an electric bike. Unfortunately, the fun turned into misfortune when he lost control of the bike and fell. He was left with two severely cracked front teeth and a significant loss of tooth structure. As any mother would, Donna panicked, not only out of concern for her child’s well-being but also because of his immediate distress. The first thing he said through his tears was: “Mom, I can’t go to school tomorrow looking like this.” At that moment, she knew she needed help... and fast.
At PDS Health, our clinicians understand that their impact goes beyond dental care. We are supporting patients’ overall well-being, and for our team at Park West Dental Group in Stockton, Calif., a recent patient success story serves is a powerful reminder of that.
PDS Health Founder and CEO Stephen E. Thorne IV is a passionate advocate for the integration of dental and medical care as a means to improve overall health and well-being. By prioritizing oral health, Steve emphasizes, clinicians can serve as the first line of defense, potentially catching more serious conditions before they require medical intervention.
